In traditional Korean culture, boys are often privileged over girls. I saw this happen a lot when I visited my relatives as a child. My aunt would serve food to the my uncles and even my 8-year-old nephew before the women. When I talked to my parents about this, they agreed that this was an unfair and outdated tradition. I decided that I would teach my own children differently in the future.

My dad grew up with 7 brothers and 4 sisters, so on that side of the family i have about 40 consins. Family means a lot to me and i think its so important to stay conected. Most of my dads side stayed in Ireland. I still find ways to keep in touch with my family. My dad always tells me that ¨family is all you have got¨ this always stuck with me.

I love talking to people i just met or even people i have known for so long. When I getinto a good conversion with someone I dont want it to end. I love hearing what people think and it gives me so many different points of veiws. I always love hearing people share more about themselves.

I pride myself in the standards I have for people in my life. I can quickly tell if people are the type of people i wan tto be around. I always try to be friendly to others but that doesnt mean i want to be close friends with them. I don't take treatment i don't deserve.

I went to work with my mom one day. She looked after this older man Tom would was a veteran from the war. My mom told me he had so many interesting stories. He began to tell me about how he took on a duty that wasn't his job. When he took on the duty he got blown up with a bomb and lucky sirved. He told me that he would do it again if he had to even thogh he now lives with a tube coming out of his stomach. This taught me it's not the stuff you have to do its the thingd you should do.

Headaches

I have suffers from headaches my whole life. I have got really good at telling when they are coming on. I usally get them like once a week. One time i knew I was coming but didnt take anything to help it and it lead me to have a seizure. This taught to be more responsible. When i know it's coming to take medicine when its coming so it doesn't develop into something worse.
