I have never used QR Codes, since our students are not allowed to use smart phones in the classroom. Anyway, they can use it to check their homework, so I'm thinking of introducing it to my teaching.

Qr code wow very nice. I saw it for the first time during the code week when my students took part to the game with other class and a teacher give a qr code to enter to the questions. but in our school isn't allowed to bring mobile in the school.

I use QR codes during my lessons. I teach with Smartphones/IPhones - Tablet/IPad and computers. When I have to share a link to my students, I project the QR code. Very simple and quick.

Never thought about the qr code as a teaching resource before but...it's great!
Usally homework are time consuming for correction: I could link the solution or an extra-explanation video by a sticker-qrcode or, for my special needs pupil, I should link the class activity wiyh video about the facilitating strategy to use so that he can work while I'm busy with the rest of the class! I'm going to work on it immediately!

Through the QR codes we can provide information about a concept, we can establish associations with images, maps, messages, passwords, URL, results, etc.

I never used QR codes, never even thought on it. Well, after digging a little in the Net about it, I find it very interesting. Maybe it´s a way to involve students in home tasks, linking to PDF with exercise or videos that can help them understands the task. I just created a site in google sites ( related to my email account) with materials to help students in their study at home. That might be a way of giving the direction for the page and the exact location they have go. I´ll investigate very soon!

I think the question, for me, is not how to use QR codes in my math lessons, but why to use QR codes in the my maths lessons. I didn't find an answer, yet. With QR codes teacher can lead students to information by just using their computer's or mobile device's camera - but if the students just have to check their answers to calculation questions they may use their phone calculator.

QR codes are a great resource I never thought to use in teaching. Examples given by the video are a little bit naive but I can think of adapting for my classes in some sort of problems. I thin k the best use of QR codes is to put them on objects in the "real world": I can think of a treasure hunt made on the outside of the school where next place is found through the solution of a problem: you give a problem which solution points to a webpage (i.e http://somepage.com/[solution]) where they find indication to next place, where they find a QR code corresponding to next problem text.

Again I have used QR Codes and AR Media for eTwinning but not for Maths. I tend to hesitate in using it for my Maths class is the nature of my class. For a QR Code lesson students have to bring their own device and they have to be responsible about their own device and it use.

I had not yet used the qr codes but I'm curious about them. This morning, I did a survey among my students. Many of them have an app on their smartphone that allows them to scan the qr codes. So I prepared a qr code using qrstuff.com. My students will come to see on their smartphone some problems they have to solve.

As already said by the acronym QR stands for Quick Response, we use them to accelerate access to information. Schools should make available tablet for pupils so they can scan QR code as soon as it is screen on the LIM, so that they have immediately access to the same resource.
