Be creative, show people interest in what they do, that they trust and believe in you.

Planning a project is one major step. At our school we usually meet to discuss what our weaknesses and needs are, usually based on the school strategy. Then we define what actions and tools could help us in meeting our needs. After that it is important to see how everyone could contribute in the project. This is a long process, and through discussion we come up not only with the idea, but with the whole plan of the project. Here every contribution matters, and this way it becomes the activity not just for a certain part of the staff, but for the whole school and even local community. The main thing is yo unleash creativity and believe that everything can be achieved with hard work and devotion.

Everything starts with an idea and your own motivation to start a project, because motivation is the heart and ideas for activities arise from this. Sometimes you have to be creative to justify the project accordingly.
If possible, all eight key competences should then be promoted within the project. But if you include the students in the planning, let them calculate the budget and let them vote for activities, then some of them are already covered. Some others are will be during the project or in the evaluation through presentations or when designing the school website. We have already fulfilled a lot of this when doing our exchange, but the students should also feel more responsible for the project from the beginning, so that they can appreciate the activities and so that all areas are covered.

To do things well you must enjoy them or realise how important they are. The ideal is a combination of the two. The reward you get for international project comes from the student.
