During the research and planning stage I read a lot of Slideshare presentations, especially to learn about specific media theories. is a social media platform that has gained incredible amounts of popularity in the last couple of years. Due to this, I decided to promote my second survey about punk conventions using Instagram. I thought this was a great idea because I have a good number of punk followers on my personal account who would answer my survey with the knowledge of my genre. It has much more customization than Slideshare allowing me to change colour and use greater transition effects. For example, I used the newspaper template when creating my Emaze presentation for potential target audience, I chose this because it was different and added charm to my blog.

I used it to create my presentations to then upload onto slide share. I also used it for the creation of my plat plans. As well as a way to store all my images when creating my project so that they were in a place that I can see all my photos and access them easily. I also used PowerPoint to plan my evaluation questions. I find PowerPoint very easy to use and have a lot of experience using it. I tried to limit the use of it this year in comparison to the previous AS project.

So this year I decided to use a platform that I used during my GCSEs because I found it much easier to use. Serif Draw Plus. I am glad I made this decision because it meant that I could create all my products easily but also create further things that added details like a logo. The creation of the logo allowed me to portray synergy across all of my products.
