Judy garland played the main character Dorthy as she passes through trails to find the witch who would grant her wish of going back to Kansas. it has been over 80 years since it originally aired and it still manages to stay relevant.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The dust bowl was drought in the 1930's that effected the framers . It took place in the Midwest of America. The dust bowl caused really bad dust storms that would leave the sky dark for days and the dust acted like snow  falling from the sky and covering the ground .The dust was so bad it go threw cracks in houses and got over food and and furniture .The dust also caused sickness or called "dust pneumonia" . This caused chest pain and had difficulty breathing and many people have died from that sickness .With this drought being so harmful not only physically and economically many people up and left the sates (Oklahoma, Texas , new mexico ,Nebraska , and Kansas )  ,With many people leaving this was a huge migration.The photo shows clearly the actual dryness and how dusty it was.<br><br> </div>]]></description>

Many people  believe that this is the first science fiction novel to be written.This novel was transform into a film in 1931. He had to not only give hope to the citizens but try to help them and the country as a whole.He had came up with and idea called the new deal. The first thing he did was called a national Holiday and shut down banks for three days so people could stop withdrawing savings and to close banks that were insolvent.Then Roosevelt had created the TVA(Tennessee Valley Authorization Act) .This let dams be built in Tennessee to help stop floods .He then he made he WPA which provided jobs for unemployed people .They would build offices and schools ,bridges. This photo just represented the amount of work Roosevelt put i to get America back on the right track </div>]]></description>

Some people had mechanical jobs in factories, the new deal of government increased construction jobs. After the decade the jobs started to increase mostly with construction and medicine first, the process was real slow but they recovered after the 1930’s.</div>]]></description>
