The Librarian of Basra had awesome illustrations, but the book did not have much information. For example, in Alia's Mission I learned that many books were not saved. Many books were damaged due to the explosion. In addition, the comics in the book also helped me think about Alia's expressions throughout the war. Alia was so stressed that she had a stroke. Finally, I was able to understand that Saddam Hussein was the leader of the military. His soldiers were stationed in the library and were ready to battle the British troops. In conclusion, both books were excellent, but Alia's Mission was more interesting.
