Mrs. Pearce is the bridge between Higgins and Eliza also she serves as Higgins conscience.
Alfred Doolittle though he is not seen much in the play he serves a major role in telling us why Eliza is the way she is.
Mrs.Higgins is Higgins mother who kind of looks down on him for not being as proper as her and having no concern for others feelings. Her parlor is also the location of the first test of her education.
Neponmuck is supposedly the "best dialect locator in London" but mistakenly places Eliza for royalty of Hungary, when Higgins tells him the truth he laughs and does not believe him.

One of 3 main characters first problems is trying to teach Eliza to speak properly, secondly Higgins and Pickering take her to Mrs.Higgins at home day to try to pass her off to the guest as someone of their class, but she messes up and her small talk goes off track and her guest believe it to be the new "small talk". Lastly for now her biggest test was the party with Neponmuck. He believed she was from Hungary of the royal family.
