Alfred Doolittle though he is not seen much in the play he serves a major role in telling us why Eliza is the way she is.
Mrs.Higgins is Higgins mother who kind of looks down on him for not being as proper as her and having no concern for others feelings. Her parlor is also the location of the first test of her education.
