·        Structured system for tuition, with coverage so staff can attend classes and the HS classroom is covered to balance work/home balance;

Hawaii:  - programs to support entry level I/T aid positions; licensing requirements for EHS staff can be challenging because of hours of experience requirements
CDA - acquiring observational time can be challenging 
Partnerships with high school and local cc can be helpful to support access to observational time with feedback/mentor support to students

Adrienne has a grantee that is starting a CDA Ambassadorship Program. They received stipends, full day five days a week for about 8 weeks. They are having it at their agency, every week, they are bringing in a guest program to share their ideas. Once they have finished, the host grantee they will have first dibs to offer jobs to work in their EHS program.

Any other grantees that are participating, they would also have an opportunity to recruit potential employees.

The coursework they do for the CDA will carry over into the college level requirements.
