In the end, I decided that my historically inspired idea would be better achieved with slab, so I used one of my small pieces as a maquette to built a large coil built figure, which was inspired in part by historical and contemporary pieces I’ve enjoyed over the past six months

Professor Gregor told me that these pieces were manufactured at high volumes using press molds. The distortion in her facial features may be due to wear on the mold from repeated use.
