The allure of fear comes from the adrenaline and knowledge that you survived. The brain releases chemicals that make a person feel pleasure especially after the terror has happened or been avoided. A person can also be curious which can make someone allured to the fear of the unknown. Once everything is over, a person's adrenaline is going and they feel relief and accomplishment knowing they made it unscathed.

The allure of fear is an addicting feeling for the instinct that we have inside us that gets us either excited or causes us to freeze in fear. Since this feeling is so addicting, many love being in situations that cause their brain to put this instinct in action. Haunted houses are an example of where a person can go to enjoy getting scared. Adrenaline starts to pump and it gets people addicted to the feeling which keeps them coming back.

Exploring fear also helps people face what scares them and feel braver afterward. An example of this is rollercoasters, the excitement but scare of going on them is so high but at the end of it you will be safe. In this way, fear can be both scary and fun at the same time.

The allure of fear can be a trigger of adrenaline, making our hearts race by giving us a brief rush like a roller coaster or haunted house. That also leads into how many people enjoy those scary, adrenaline-boosters because they know it's not actually going to hurt them. Humans sometimes do have that natural want to explore or understand mysterious things and many could even try to prove that they can handle being startled and frightened. Overall, fear can feel intense and exciting, but also controlled.

I think the allure of fear is the high intensity feeling that we get as a result of fear. Since we can't normally get this feeling without putting ourselves into serious danger, we crave it from horror movies or roller coasters. It also makes people go crazy when they get really scared, like I was watching the IT movie for the first time with some of my friends and they kept poking me and I kept jumping because I'm deadly afraid of horror movies. The only way to watch a horror movie is to make jokes about it then it isn't scary anymore.

The allure of fear lies in the rush of adrenaline and thrilling experience that causes the reaction. People often chose/pay to explore the very frightening themes in extremely controlled environments because it allows them to feel that rush and adrenaline but in a safe environment. People enjoy these controlled events because it tests one's courage to the extreme and can reveal reactions one probably did not know about themselves, or just purely for entertainment.

Fear is often felt when humans are not in control of a situation or its consequences. There is a rush that can be derived from facing an experience where a human is completely powerless in a way. This adrenaline and absolution of capability is incredibly tempting for people, especially in society nowadays where there is a lot of emphasis placed on being able to plan and predict every bland moment of every day for the next ten years.

Fear is one of the strongest emotions that can single-handedly run a person's life. It causes physical and emotional reactions like increased heart rate, shaky hands, sweating, and a continuous feeling of dread, resulting in hyperalertness, and becoming jumpy. One thing all humans have in common is that we're all looking for things to make us feel most alive, things that make us feel even more than the day before, and fear is common emotion that is sought out. Humans tend to put themselves in positions for the experience, rather than genuinely wanting to face the danger on the screen or the monster rather than a mere actor for the sake of wanting to feel the natural rush of adrenaline that only a perceived threat can provoke.
