Throughout the novel, Clementine is scolded by the principal and her parents for being inattentive and difficult, causing Clementine to fear that her parents may desert her. The novel ends with her parents consoling her and ensuring that she will always be loved. This novel is great for children with poor self-perception and may feel lonely or unimportant.</div>]]></description>
