A Full Day of Support for Children, Parents & Carers

Fridays are dedicated to families at the Living Well Hub – with expert advice, fun activities, and supportive sessions for children, parents, carers, and those expecting a baby.

This is a typical example of what a Children & Family Day might look like at the Hub. Services and times may vary depending on partner availability.

Morning Session (9am–1pm):

• Dad Matters – Supporting dads to bond with their family

• Warrington Borough Council Early Help Team – Partnership Link Worker drop-in

• Talking Therapies (Employment Support) – Appointment only – Mental health & employment support

• DWP Youth Drop-in – Employment and benefits help for young people

• Home-Start Play Session – Fun, interactive play (10am–11.30am)

• Talking Point Advisors – Family advice and information (9am–1pm)

• Midwives Team – Antenatal and postnatal advice

• Physio – Perinatal Pelvic Health Clinics – Specialist pregnancy/postnatal support

• Infant Feeding Support – Help with breastfeeding and bottle-feeding

• Domestic Abuse Team – Confidential group support (appointment only)

• Health Visitor Baby Weighing – (9.30am–11.30am)

• Infant Breastfeeding Support Group – (10am–12pm)

All services are free – most are drop-in, no booking needed.

Room at the Inn, the local homeless day & night centre is looking for volunteers to assist with donation collections.

WE ESPECIALLY NEED:

- Volunteers with access to a car

- Friendly, reliable people

- Anyone able to spare a few hours each week

YOUR ROLE:

- Collect & deliver donated items (food, clothing, essentials)

To help ensure vital support reaches those in need around Warrington & surrounding areas

- Flexible times, regular or occasional help welcome
