         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Fractions in English<br> To say fractions in English we use the cardinal number for the numerator and the ordinal number for the denominator. </strong><strong><em>Example: 1/3 is said [one third].<br></em></strong><strong><br> In the case that the numbered is greater than 1, the denominator must be plural, therefore an s is added at the end. </strong><strong><em>Example: 5/6 is said [five sixths].</em></strong><strong> <br>The only exception is 2, which is said [half] when the numerator is 1 (</strong><strong><em>eg ½ is called one half)</em></strong><strong> and [halves] when it is greater than one </strong><strong><em>(eg 3/2 is said to be three halves).</em></strong></div><div><br><strong><em>Las fracciones en inglés</em></strong></div><div><br></div><div><em>Para decir las fracciones en inglés usamos el </em><strong><em>número cardinal para el numerador</em></strong><em> y el </em><strong><em>ordinal para el denominador</em></strong><em>.
