For instance the first assignment may be to record your speech in a podcast form post it and review two other classmates. Then the next assignment it could be a video recording so they get used to having to make eye contact. If students are allowed to create videos or podcasts of their speeches, then there would not be any point in making students take an oral communications course. After all, oral communications courses are designed to help students become better speakers in front of groups of people.
