In 1806, it was made part of the curriculum in the State Navy College (Bahriye Mektebi). Later, it was integrated into the programs of School of Navy Engineering (Çarkçı Mektebi), School of Foreign Languages (Elsine Mektebi).

After reading the texts related to the Turkish educational system, I learned that there have been significant changes since the proclamation of the Turkish Republic in 1923. It was interesting to learn about the MONE's efforts to enhance English language teaching practices in Turkey. I would like to learn more about the current status and potential future developments of English language teaching in the Turkish education system and its potential future developments.
