A Book set in the Past

Birds, Beasts, and Relatives.
I really enjoyed reading this book after I read My Family and Other Animals, because it was basically some other funny stories from the Durrell Family while they were on Corfu. I like the story of when Larry goes hunting, and then calls Mrs. Durrell a terrible old woman. I think that the Durrell Family is a crazy family, and I would say that Gerry and his Mother are the most normal ones. I also think that it's funny how Larry reacts to one of Gerry's new pets. Over all, I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

Inside Out and Back Again.
With the Vietnam war started and their father missing, the main character Ha, and her family have to move to Alabama, by escaping Vietnam. I would say that my favorite character from this book is the 'cowboy' who houses Ha's family after her run. He would have been harassed if anyone found out about the Vietnamese family. I would rate this book with 3 stars, because it is good, but I think it needs a sequel.

Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell
I like this book just as much as I like Heartless as it also explains why the Fairy Tales are called Fairy Tales. I love how the author (Chris Colfer) tells what happened to Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and so on. I think that its funny how that goes along with the same characters profile from the Lunar Chronicles. I think that even though the name sounds cheesy, but it is a actually good book that some of my friends have said they loved. I would overall rate this book 5 stars because it have a great plot and great ending.

3 Men in a Boat
I would say that this is a hilarious book that has a lot of funny stories that though the people are grown-ups, the stories are just as funny and they act just as kids would. I would overall call this a four-star book because though the stories are funny, it is sometimes boring in the tiny intervals between the different stories. I would say that the funniest story is when that make the soup. I would say that I liked that 3 characters and how they would fight about things that didn't work because of themselves.

A Best-Selling Book

Heartless
I love this book now that I understand why the Queen of Hearts is so evil, now that I know how she lost Jest. I think it was very dumb of Catherine to save Mary Ann, since she was such a traitor. I think that it is somewhat bittersweet when her parents ask her "Are you sure this is what is going to make you happy?" and Catherine only wishes they had asked you this earlier. I would definitely give this book a definite 5 out of 5 stars, because this book is GREAT! I think it explains the plot and reason behind Alice in Wonderland perfectly. I love the feeling of understanding behind the nursery rhyme Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater...
