The articles both talk about how we as kids should be spending more time out doors. The Echoing Green tells us in descriptions reasons why we should be going outside more. Like, that people play to much video games. Go Outside is problem & solution. The problem is that kids aren't going outside to play much anymore. The solution to that problem is that a bunch of doctors actually tell their patients to go outside to the park, or to just be outside for a while. That's how they are alike and different.

Both articles also talk about the dangers of not going outside, and the good things that can come out of going outside. Although these similarities, the texts have differences too. In “Echoing Green”, the author explains reasons in detail about why we need to go outside more, whereas In “Go Outside”, the author explains how doctors can prescribe people to go outside more through technology.

Both of these articles have the same goal, trying to get kids go outside. In the text they show how challenges can be solved, explaining reasons why its healthier, also tons of ideas to do when outside. Then again these articles are different in unique ways. Go outside shows their plan of solving the problem of kids not going outside. At first they list the problems. Then show how their plan fixes it. On the other hand, echoing green talks about ways to go outside. They also include some ideas of what you should do, still showing how going outside can make a huge difference.
