Questions for Pippin - Restrict Content Pro

Hi Pippin, we're doing a charity summit, please see - themindfulnesssummit.com
We need to give free members (that give us their email + name) access to a page of content (video, text etc) that is only accessible for free on a particular day in Oct.
i.e. there will be one page (possible 2) of content available on each particular day. People that have given us their name & email address get access to it.
Question 1.
So can people signup for a "free membership" without going through a lengthy checkout process? i.e. do you have to have a username? can it be autoset to their email address?
eg Can we use a signup flow like this? i.e. name and email capture off home page -> thank you page -> check and click email to go to confirmation page 2 (which ideally just logs you right into the free membership area, password is created and emailed - or if must create a password, then onto the protected content).
If we can't do the above is there any way around this with custom coding?
- You need to buy an “all access pass" If you want to unlock all the content thats been on so far in the summit and 100% of the content once Oct 31st has past (i.e. all content has been shown). This will give people lifetime access to the content. (Free content / timing *could* be done manually each day - e.g. free members only actually have access to 1 page on the site - we will be encouraging people to share that page while its free.
Question 2:
- so when a non free member hits that members only page a modal popover would be great asking for name and email to get access (better than just redirecting them for conversions I think). Sometimes people will share content that was free but when one of their friends clicks the link it is no longer free (i.e. next day has passed) - so ideally we’d give them a modal popup saying they can buy the all access pass or give us your email address and get access to whoever is live today.
Question 3:
a) Mailchimp integration - can free members be added to a mailchimp list automatically without requiring them to check a box?
b) when a free member buys the premium pack can they be added to another list / taken off a list?
If we can't do this out of the box, any way to custom code this?
Question 4:
We'll also be using your affiliateWP plugin - this all integrates nicely yeah?
Thanks!
Matt

The Bigger Picture - what else is going on (we have mrsmindfulness.com too) and the future roadmap so that we don't have to throw everything out and start again

Immediate requirements for just the summit:
Doing a charity summit - themindfulnesssummit.com - based on the commitments we have from our partners and affiliates who will be promoting it - we will be getting >100,000 people signing up (i.e. we have access to a few million in their lists, social accounts, websites etc)… so could be more.
Barebones requirements (we need this going pretty quick - i.e. in the next few days we need the affiliate software going - that will be easy, then ideally have the basics for the membership side ready so we can do signups, then come Oct1 everything needs to be working on the immediate requirements for summit

have a front end wordpress designer who can help with simple coding stuff, but may need to pay someone with more experience / familiar with your plugins to do it faster / better):
- So we need to give free members (email + name) access to a page of content (video, text etc) that is only accessible for free on a particular day in Oct.
i.e. there will be one page (possible 2) of content available on each particular day. People that have given us their name & email address get access to it.
- so when a non free member hits that page a modal popover would be great asking fore name and email to get access (better than just redirecting them for conversions I think). Sometimes people will share content that was free but when one of their friends clicks the link it is no longer free (i.e. next day has passed) - so ideally we’d give them a modal popup saying they can buy the all access pass or give us your email address and get access to whoever is live today.
- We use Mailchimp for email. So 2 way integration there would be great so we can segment lists / or add tags etc so we can for example email only people who have NOT purchased the "all access summit pass"
- the UX for becoming a free and paid member is clean / can be integrated with forms (e.g. there will be tradeoffs between auto setting them a password via email and letting them select one)
- super low friction and great UX for free signup, access to protected content and for purchasing to the "all access pass”
- Want to use Stripe for payment
- fully responsive
- integrates with decent affiliate tracking software - for the summit, its likely any affiliate software would do it as we only have 1 product… but would like this to extend into the future - see below...

So after the summit… The Summit is put on by Mrsmindfulnes.com - we will own the database etc and we’re going to continue building out product on mrsmindfulness.com for the summit community.
Mrsmindfulness.com currently sells live retreats (via eventbrite and Events Calendar Pro WP plugin - so would like to move away from Eventbrite and use EDD Tickets etc ).
Mrsmindfulness.com in the future will be developing a membership area and a hybrid iOS /Android app giving people access to meditations, mindfulness tools, exclusive interviews etc. We want to be able offer a number of "lead magnets” on different pages. e.g. if they’re reading about Mindfulness for anxiety, they can unlock a bunch of free mediations by giving us their email address
- So something that can run across both mrsminsdulness and the summit site AND an app (e.g. a hybrid HTML5 app - low chance that will be supported out of the box, so likely need WP REST API access to the customer database?). So this likely means the plugins need to support Wordpress Multi Site (could be other ways to do it though?).
Being able to use something like http://reactor.apppresser.com/ to quickly and cheaply deploy an app that people could login to and watch the summit would be great (so if this can be done pre Oct1 that would be awesome!). Reactor works with Wordpress and WooCommerce (does it work with RCP / EDD?)
- So if we can we’d love to wrap this summit as a mobile app and then build on that post summit.
- We like to have a single view of a customer across everything (i.e. good to know if they have bought a live retreat, they’re a paid summit member, etc so that we can slice and dice the marketing to the audience).
So its ideal if it integrates with the bigger picture of a customer and it integrates with a way to sell tickets to events and products - e.g. if someone buys a retreat, gives the summit a small donation, buys a meditation download pack, upgrades to a paid membership on site, buys or upgrades to a monthly/yearly In app purchase (in an iOS app).
- integration with MailChimp - would be awesome if adding someone to a specific mailchimp list triggered them becoming a certain member (e.g. it shot them off an email with a password etc to be a free member) then we could easily use Wistia turnstile email capture to share summit videos that require a signup anywhere you can embed a video.
- Google indexing protected posts (and supporting first-read-free - i.e. when someone comes from google/bing)
- (not a big one if can’t do this) a section of a forum thats private / for members. Planning to use a Discourse.org installation thats available to anyone /open and also you could have a section thats private for members only… probably need to code this via APIs? I noticed some member plugins provide provide this with forums like bbPress (but want to use something modern like Discourse)
