Did you know that most kids communicate through  screens? Sometimes you don’t know who’s on the other side, staying safe online is very important. This writing is all about staying safe online.

First, do not share private info! Sharing private info like your home address, your name, or your mom’s or dad’s license plate. These things are used to track people down! Also, don’t play online games with older people, unless it's a family member. You don’t know what they want to do. Do not follow what people say online! For example, you are playing your favorite game and a guy says “Go to this address and ill meet you there” he or she may be trying to kidnap you. Lastly, make a strong password! Ensuring you have a strong password is very important. A hacker could guess an easy password like your pets name, your name, or a birthdate and steal your information.

Ultimately, you can stay safe by having a strong password, not going to suggested places, not sharing private info, and not playing with older people. Doing these things will keep you safe while enjoying some of your favorite online games.

Never look up stuff that you don’t know because it can be a bad or hacker website to take your stuff and then you can’t get it off your ipad or phone. Do never say your name or something can happen where they find where you live and never ever say anything about where you live they can see where you live and rob you. Don’t share your birthday or they might be able to find you and take your name and take your money and that would be really bad. Don’t say your phone number or you can get hacked or they can get into your accounts and take everything from you.

If you ever do any of these things you can get in a bad place and kidnap and rob and many other bad things and then you get taken from you dad and mom so never do that stuff. That is how to be safe online because of people saying their name and where they live and birthdays. Many people get robbed from that so don’t do that for your dad and mom and you.

Firstly, I know you have heard this before, but let me tell you again.. DON'T GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL DATA!! It is actually very important. Also, be careful of cyberbullying. It can affect you in many different ways. Thirdly, be careful of people in general; they can manipulate you into doing things you may not want to do. Also, never give personal information about yourself. If they are curious enough, they CAN and WILL find your address and street name. Finally, make sure to use a unique password, nothing simple that anyone could guess.

In conclusion, make sure to stay safe online using these five steps.

If anyone asks for your personal information, either tell an adult or just don’t talk to them and block them.

How you and I could be safe online! Number 1 it could be a weirdo and He/She could be way older than you. Number two: don't talk to strangers ONLY your friends. Number three don’t give out your address because he/she will probably try to find your house and rob you or at least try. Number four don’t share your passwords or email because they will probably try to login to your account and either delete your account, try to delete all your stuff or post or take down all your videos if you have any also the last thing they would maybe do is share all your account information. Did you know that 5.65 billion people use the internet and 608 million of them get scammed a year? Well unfortunately it’s true, but there are ways to avoid it!

There are many games that make you work with other people to succeed, but it’s best to play with people you know and trust because any players in games can hack you. Make sure you never leak personal information. It’s a very big rule that lots of little kids don’t know! Some of the personal information is telling your password, telling your address, and telling someone where your school is even! There are many youtubers that go in public and you might think it’s cool to be on a video you might be wrong. When you are in a big youtubers video for even a split second many people will look for you to ask you questions, this also goes for youtubers in general! Never be friends with strangers, they can be bribing you into doing bad things like stealing. 

These ways to be safe online might be weird but if you follow them there is a very, very small chance strangers can harm you or hack you!

First, kids sometimes go on to youtube but it has inappropriate content and websites so don’t go on youtube.

Next, kids play online games like Fortnite but some kids tell other kids their address so don’t share your address.

Then, while playing Fortnite do not do yoice chat online with people.

Finally, you never share your house number and your password to others online when playing Fortnite.

Firstly, you should use different passwords. Next, don’t get mad and lash out because you can hurt yourself. Also, don’t share personal information.Then, don’t go on uncensored websites. Additionally, Don’t say inappropriate things. Lastly, don’t talk to strangers.

Did you know that 65% of young kids have social media?? Here are some ways to be safe online. How is this useful, you may be wondering, a lot of kids get kidnapped using the internet and it should stop.

First, here are some things you shouldn't do online. You shouldn't friend them or bond with them, anyone could be behind the screen. Next this is what you should do online.  Always make a hard password so you don't get hacked and get all of your data taken. We should all know not to give information about ourselves. We shouldn’t even talk to the people in public games. Don’t give your name if they ask or just leave.         

This is how I would stay safe online if this happened to me. To sum it all up this is the do’s and don'ts online or just play alone if you can.

Another way you can be safe is if they don't believe the address, tell a trusted adult and get off the game immediately before  they ask another concerning question or creepy one.  

In conclusion, that is why you can and should be safe online is because of scammers and other people that can put you and your family in danger.

First, if someone is online and is on the same game as you or chat and asks you where you live get off the game or chat or they will take your stuff or they will probably kidnap you.

Also, it is important to give away where you live if you do live or you're password because they will hack you and take your money from you're bank account.

Then, if your grandma or grandpa are on a website help them because there are scammers in the world who scam lots and lots of people get scammed in the world

Conclusion: Those who are of my reasons why kids shouldn't be online talking to strangers on a chat or a game your playing play a different game but, you have to get off the game or chat or else the will hack or take you away just don't tell them again don't tell the stranger were you live just don't do it.

First, kids can stay safe by staying off games and websites where hackers can look at private information while they are distracted. Next, when kids are texting or chatting with people they don’t know, kids without knowing can give out information like their address and password without knowing. If kids give out personal data, they can get robbed or found. Lastly, if you really want to go on sites, just stick to safer sites.

One thing I’m proud of is that I’m getting better grades. I’m also proud of my brother because he gets good grades and he is inspiring.
