In brief, I will call the most helpful platform, for my purposes - "YouTube +"

(In retrospect, the lesson probably challenged young attention spans as it had too many pieces - videos, song sheets, and all. Also, students had to learn how to fill out the organizer, but it was a useful activity with regards to meeting standards in the domain of responding to and analyzing music).

(This approach worked well with older students who were already familiar with padlet. On the whole I found that students worked best with platforms previously introduced to them by their classroom teachers).

You may notice that the lessons above had a 50% - 66 % completion rate, please read to the lower end of that spectrum to account for the lessons that were marked "turned in" but no work was actually submitted. These figures held true across in all of my posted classes, the ones shared above are a fairly representative sample.As it specifically relates to the target group of SWD and ELL, I found that activities that engaged the whole family worked best.

This is not a YouTube project, but I found it well received based on parent & student feedback:

In closing, the lessons shared above might give you a picture of overall student engagement, and you may be able to draw some conclusions regarding the SWD portion of your focus group, but I had a difficult time determining ELL participation. I can't even say for certain that google translate helped at all (translate doesn't always account for cultural variation). As you can see in the sample above, the response comments in the dual language class were written in English.
