The advantages of this is seperation from other tribes that would try to attack them. It also serves as a good place to do terrace farming. One of the things that also make this a disadvantage however, is only having the ability to raise smaller livestock, which would end up being pretty bad if a scarcity of food occurs. Although terrace farming is possible, food scarcity might be a problem for the people that live near or on these mountains. For the people who aren't on the mountains, food would probably be less scarce and farming would probably would be better off. Also what looks like some land that has been carved out to make it easier to farm (Terrace farming). It seems like an advantage would be that it would be very difficult to be attacked if you live there. A disadvantage could be there isn't much land that's not being used and seems good for farming so it might be a challenge to farm. Disadvantage(s): Ways they can go to another place because of the mountain that's in the way I feel like it would be pretty difficult to get over that.
