The hobbit lived in a hole, not in an ordinary, it was a unique hole. It porthole painted green with a shiny yellow knob in the middle. The door opened to a hall like a tunnel. A comfortable tunnel without smoke or smog. The holes have panel walls floors tiled and carpeted. It was provided with polished chairs and lots of pegs for hats and coats. (Tolkien 1)

Lake Town- Thorin wanted a meeting with the village leader so the guard lead them over a bridge through the gates and into the market place to the town. It was a wide circle of calm water surrounded by the tall piles which were built large houses. By long wooded quays with many steps and ladder leading to the lake. From one grand hall shone many lights and multiple voices. (Tolkien 196)

There is also a map in the beginning of the book. The writing on the map also looks ancient and there is also a place called Elven King Halls which is an example a king and castle. There are runes which are things that you would think it is ancient. The runes mostly looked like letters that were bent some were crosses and up arrows. On the map there is a type of dragon called a worm which is also usually depicted in medieval times as wyrm.

In order to do so he hired 12 other dwarves and since he thought 13 is an unlucky number, he had an acquaintance scout for a new member who happened to be a hobbit named. They set off on a journey with challenges like giant wolves and orcs which they only survived due to eagles helping them but get through them all.
This is an important part because it leads to the final fight it talks about why they want to attack the dragon and the fight between other creatures

Bilbo is ordinary at the beginning and the book said “you can tell what a bagginess would say on any question without the bother of asking him” (2) but after a while he started to be adventurous and wanting to go outside. He is from the Baggins family and has a little bit of Took blood in him which are hobbits that occasionally go on small adventures.

Rising action
Bilbo at one point finds a magic ring that grants invisibility and uses it to get out of dangerous situations. Eventually they reach a village near the dragon. They rest and then they go try to steal from it but fail and get locked in a small entrance to the dragon’s mountain. Eventually they manage to come out and realize the dragon is gone! But what they don’t realize is the dragon attacked the village they stayed at and died due to accidentally giving a hint that the village helped them.

Climax
The remaining villagers were mad that they caused so many of them to die and their ally the elves are greedy for the money they obtained and want to attack them. They called for backup from a friend who had a lot of skilled men in order to repel the attackers. Then the wolves and orcs that attacked them before, showed up to attack and they team up but after a while the elves, humans, and dwarves were losing but then the eagles showed up and helped them beat the wolves and orcs.

Falling Actions
Thorin was fatally wounded and had a last talk with Bilbo before passing away and they buried him under the mountain with a precious gem and gave gold to the master of the town to rebuild but the master got corrupt and ran and died and Bilbo went back to his home with a lot of gold and silver and some very rare treasures like mythril armor which would come into play in future books.

Resolution
After defeating the army Bilbo went home to the shire with Gandalf on a horse while carrying chests full of silver and gold, as well as his ring. He then hid the gold, silver and the ring and when he came back, someone stole his silverware! He then lived happily until the next book.

He is also half the size of a normal person. Dresses in bright colors with no shoes. 

Smaug is a red-gold dragon with big wings similar to bats and extremely sharp teeth and claws. His stomach was crusted with jewels and fragments of gold. Behind him where the walls were closest you could see mails axes helmet in and great jars and containers. (215)

Bard had a grim voice he was decedent of the long line of Girion lord of dale. The archer from Lake-town who kills Smaug the dragon and eventually becomes Master of Lake-town (250)

Gandalf is a wizard with grey hair and a grey beard. He helps the company get out of dangerous situations like having the eagles save them from the wolves and orcs. He also caused the eagles to help the company to fight the final battle. 

Thorin is average size dwarfs who is the king of The Lonely Mountain. He can also communicate with some birds to send messages to others and also receive messages.

They go towards the mountain facing dangers like orcs and trolls and eventually arrive near the mountain where Smaug resides. They take a rest at the nearby village, lake town and try to take the stuff back but the dragon wakes up and attacks the village, later dying. Then they try to defend the loot from lake town and an ally of lake town, the wood elves. Eventually they fight a tough battle against a large enemy army and divide up the loot and then Thorin dies.

He ends up encountering a strange creature called Gollum who wanted to eat him, and also meeting a wizard who dragged him into this adventure and fighting trolls, orcs, and wolves, and encountering friendly talking eagles, then getting imprisoned by elves!

The reason bravery is there because he could have given up and didn’t get anything done but he chose to continue. Hardship since they fought tough battles against orcs wolves and trolls and also survived problems about food and water. Last but not least it is adventure since they travelled a long way facing obstacles along their path on the way.
