         <description><![CDATA[<div>It is showing important signs of economic growth, but there are still gender gaps, particularly in the political and economic spheres.<br>Women's political participation has increased from 6% to 11% in popularly elected positions, and from 7% to 21% in congressional elections in the last 20 years.<br>Regarding economic rights, women's access to formal employment and their participation in the labor market, although it has been growing, is still limited.<br>In education, great progress has been made, Colombian women have a higher rate of education than men. However, they still face significant difficulties in accessing employment, and when they enter it, they face significant wage differences and work at high levels of informality.</div>]]></description>
