He would design sewers but he quit that job after being unhappy with his job. After that he started writing cartoons. He later moved to New York to further pursue his cartooning career. He would write WWII satirical comics so he would get lots of hate. His most famous comics were the ones that used crazy inventions to do the most simple things. His legacy still lives on everytime we think of "Rube Goldberg Machines".

His love for drawing was fully established as a child when he received lessons from professional artists. As he grew up Rubes father told him to become an engineer and so he did. Despite doing so Rube was still unhappy so he decided to pursue his dream of a cartoonist. With the experience of a cartoonist and engineer Rube drew cool cartoons that had never been seen before. Drawings with cool chain reaction effects which people loved and also eventually led to world wide popularity.

Rube Goldberg Was a Jewish American man who was born on July 4th 1883. At a young age Rube took the liking to draw but his father thought it would be best for him to be an engineer so Goldberg attended a school in California and got the job of designing sewers, after 6 months into the job Rube didn't like it so he left his job and went to go work for drawing in the news paper, but they didn't like his work until they asked him to start drawing at real sports events, and then the news paper came out with a Color section and now with the Color section Rube could finally show them what he can do best. After this Goldberg moved to NYC and made a hit, one of the most liked was professor lucifer garganzolla bucks and that comic was based on his life. In that comic the professor Built these contraptions that do all the ordinary stuff we do, and all he has to do for example is push a domino and the contraption does the rest, after that Rube won a prize in 1948 Goldberg was then being sent hate mail and often some death treats so Goldberg decided to change his two sons George and Thomas last name so they can be out of harms way, so he changed it to George making his sons names Thomas George and George George. After all of this there were anis many artists inspired by his work of cartoonist and all the ideas of building those contraptions for ordinary things. When people build contraptions to work an ordinary object they think of Rube Goldberg Machines.
