I know with the amazing diversity in our cohort there will be many for whom this is not new.  But I bet there as many that have never heard of this sport. I must have been about 7 when I saw this at a huge family picnic and I was like whaaaattt?
 
Kabaddi is a contact team sport played between two teams of seven players each. The objective of the game is for a single player on offense, referred to as a "raider", to run into the opposing team's half of a court, tag out as many of their defenders as possible, and return to their own half of the court, all without being tackled by the defenders, and in a single breath.

A very long (about 10m height) long timber pole made from the areconut tree is fixed. At the top of the pole is placed a flag or sometimes money. The pole has been rubbed with thick slimy grease along its whole length—the first person to climb to the top claims the money. However, repeated attempts are made with some of the grease being removed on each go.  Finally, all the grease has gone, and the last person can climb to the top and claim the money.

While Beer Pong Games in COVID may look a little different (no parties), no one can stop you from playing beer pong against yourself or your roommates! Who said COVID stopped all sports? Not this one. Did you know it is officially a sport? They have their own world series for beer pong. Should beer pong be included at the Olympics? Probably not, but you could make a case for it... I guess.
