A great actor who has performed movies such as The Karete Kid and Life in a year, he has placed himself a good spot in acting. Due to him showing that he can play as a relatable in kid in his movies I believe he would be a great fit to play Will as he is able to capture and show the emotions that Will shows through the story.

Riggs- Samuel L. Jackson

One of the most memorable actors of this decade. He has great acting skills and has played characters like Nick Fury in Avengers, a serious yet funny character, which could work here. Riggs- is described as soft, but a loudmouth and I bet this guy could do that perfectly. Plus he can be extremely serious when needed.

Will's Mom-Shryl Lee Ralph

Sheryl Lee Ralph without a doubt would be a great mom having played a similar role in Abbot Elementary. She has played roles in other series such as Sister Act 2 and Moesha. With all these things in mind she is capable of playing a grieving mom with great emotion, even though her specialties lies in sitcoms.

Pop-John Kani

John Kani has played the role of T'Challa's father in Black Panther as well as in other movies such as The Lion King and Nothing But the Truth. He can shown to be played in emotional scenes that can be a tear jerker to the who see them, but another reason I picked him is because of his wisdom, as shown through the quote here. With characteristics like those He is great for the role of pop.

Uncle Mark

An actor, comedian and a film maker, he is perfect for this role. He played as the narrator of the Twilight Zone and directed in Nope good films from the sci-fi category. His character is also a good fit for Uncle Mark as he could make him fun, plus with his directing experience he can make his scene with Will unsettle the audience.

Dani-Zendeya

For Dani, Zendeya is my top choice. She has started in many movies such as Spiderman and shows like Euphoria, she has clearly shown that she has a big acting range through these years. Even though there are probably more actors that can play Dani, I think she would be a good choice nonetheless.

Buck- Brandon TJ Jackson

Brandon TJ Jackson is the person I would choose for Buck. He is a funny comedian/actorwwho always makes me laugh in serious scenes in movies. He has performed in movies such as Percy Jackson and Big Mommas, overall he would be a great fit.

Having played in the series such as Black-ish and Grown-ish, he would be a good choice to play a minor like Tony as he is mostly known as "Wills Friend". If not he is eligible able to play there characters on this list due to themes of the shows he has performed on. (Also go watch the shows I listed, they are entertaining when he is on screen)

Shawn-Kwesi Boakye

More of a voice actor than a screen actor, he could be considered a solid option for the role of Shawn. He played as Darwin in the Amazing World of Gumball, an episodic kids show, where he showed he can play a good brother character. Another role that he partook in was as a newspaper boy in The Princess and the Frog.

Flick-Avan Jogia

Flick is an easy character and I believe there are many suitable candidates, but I believe that this guy could do well in this role. He has played in Nickelodeon's shows such as Victorious, a relaxed show. With his experience in that show I believe he can play someone as Flick as he seemed nice, but was to busy trying to prove himself.
