Penang, in my opinion is considered one of the wonders of the world. I am always attracted to the wide variety of local delights, the authentic Peranakan culture (because I am of Peranakan heritage) and not forgetting the amazing street art.

Well, I do have people telling me that Penang is one of the best places to retire in! Being an avid coffee lover, Penang has won my heart for having one of the best local coffee and kaya toast in Asia, thus far.

Kek Lok Si is one of the largest, most majestic temple in Malaysia. It was really unfortunate that almost 70% of the temple was damaged by an early morning fire recently. I am truly glad that I had visited Penang several times before Covid-19.

You should consider visiting Penang if you are looking for affordable lodging, pocket friendly food and beverages. Not forgetting Penang is rich in cultural heritage.

In my opinion I would consider leaning tower of Pisa. The leaning tower of pisa is a tower which is not perpendicular to the ground but instead leaning towards one side. I find this very surprising because a tower and leaning on its side despite gravity and it have not collapsed yet. I hope I can visit that place before the tower collapse but before I even have the chance to visit the tower. It would maybe already collapsed or torn down. I really admire the tower because it shows an example of even if something is stopping you from doing something u can’t give up. The tower shows this example as even though gravity is pull the tower, the tower is still leaning and standing strong. I hope that in the future during my adulthood I can visit that place with my family before it is gone from this world.

This tower is slanted but it doesn't collapses onto the ground, why is that so? Did the architects who were building it built it wrongly on accident? Is it because a group of people were using the tower as the ribbon for tug of war? Was it the grassland that decided to slant? Im not sure anyone knows why.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is located in Piazza del Duomo in Italy 🇮🇹 . It is considered as a wonder of the world because it was designed to be perfectly vertical, it started to lean during construction.

I think we should visit this place because the building style is indifferent from what we see now. Compared to modernised skyscrapers I like buildings like these more. They give off a royal feel and just attracts your attention immediately even from afar.

Lau Pa Sat
One of the most popular food markets or hawker centres in the heart of Singapore’s financial district. It is a ideal location to find all dishes under one roof as it is the foodies paradise. The setting is also considered to be far more romantic than most other Hawker centres in the city especially at night when the satay vendors set up stalls outside.
It’s is an easy 5-minute walk from Raffles Place MRT station.
Reasons why I recommend this place:
When I come to Lau Pa Sat , I wonder why is there a clock tower at the top of the roof
The stalls which open at different times throughout the day are set up in rows leading to the Centre of a hexagon building

I recommend going after 7 pm as it is when the Satay Street opens (situated behind the building).the road at the back is closed from traffic every evening . This is when the sellers set up their barbecues and tempt you in with tasty meat on a stick .

Most importantly , it opens for 24/7!
