For some he was a star or a role model. Giving young African American hope that they would be selected first overall in the draft, just like Vick. Some others saw him as a disgrace and so evil. Many Americans hated him for his past with dog cruelty. And couldn't see him coming back into the NFL and ever playing another football game again. 
 Micheal Vick to me was a really good athlete that was stuck in his Hood mindset. He still was into bad things and yes he was convicted and was found guilty of killing and running dog fights. He did serve his time and learned his lessons and in my point of view he still is one of the most exciting players but it was just that he went down a bad road.
