To create a traffic-free zone outside school a couple of measures can be taken. The measures that an individual can take is to write a letter/email to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) pointing out the danger of such heavy and chaotic traffic in a school zone. When it comes to the government, they can use methods such as fine and road signs to help prevent traffic. For example, fine on horn or unauthorised parking outside school which contribute to congestion leading to a heavy traffic jam.

The benefits of this created environment would be that students would be more focused in their academics. There would be a reduction in noise pollution level and furthermore an improvement in the air quality. Moreover, people would reduce their fuel expenses since fuel is a limited resource and the prices keep on rising. 

There will always be problems but they aren’t permanent because solutions are always available in the market.

We just take out our vehicle and drive to the destination. But are we aware of the cons of always using vehicles? Well there are many, such as it pollutes the environment as well as makes our bodies unfit over time. So shouldn't some places such as school zones be made traffic free? Yes, they surely should. 
This would come with many benefits. Firstly, it'll reduce the noise and pollution around the school which would help the students concentrate more. Also, then the parents would walk their children to school which would be highly beneficial for not only the students' health but as well as the parents'. In additon to that, he parents would get some time off of their hectic schedule and be able to spend time with their child. It might also help in making the school area much more secure and might help in preventing a lot of accidents. Switching the journey to school from the motor car to walking will reduce levels of air pollution and the school’s surroundings will become more clean and fresh. 

Vehicles produce harmful fumes that can cause serious diseases. So, a traffic-free  zone will help you achieve that healthy lifestyle you always wanted. Not driving to school will also save you a lot of money that usually goes in for gas. At this point, I detect no reason for us to not bring a change and install a traffic-free zone near our schools!
