There should still be consequence for his misbehavior but we need to take into consideration his medical condition. Try to understand the trigger and set clear expectations and boundaries for him. Parents can be called in to discuss the proper consequences for his misbehavior and FT can establish a support system for him in class by seeking understanding from his classmates.

However he needs to be counselled and guided to the expected behaviours.

The consequence meted out needs to be lighter in view of his special needs. Parents need to know that his special needs cannot be a permit for his behaviour.
School leaders must support the decision behind the discipline.

Set up expectations and consequences with Ben. FT also Ensure environment is safe and students do not further antagonise him.

All students need to abide by the school rules. However, school will provide support for the child. School must work with parents on supporting the child and parents need to understand that there are other students in the class and their learning is just as important. School can work as a whole to communicate to staff and train them on SEN, so that support to SEN students are consistent.
