Use a sponge and padding motion to apply colors.

Use darker colors for the inside of the bruise.

Use lighter colors for outside of bruise

Rip the spunge to make it ruff and bumpy

Use brown and red color in a circle to make your bruise shape

Leave a circle in the middle

Add more color to your desired amount

Blend the colors a little more with your finger

Add some yellow right around the edge of your bruise

Add a little bit of green on the edge

Blend any color that needs to be

Gather your resources including several bruise tone colors and a sponge to apply with.

Apply colors with a gentle patting motion.

Use darker blues, purples, and red on the inside, lighter reds and yellows on the outside.

Blend colors for more realistic effect.

Take wax and roll it out into a long skinny log

Lay it across the area you want the makeup to be and press it down

Take petroleum jelly and smooth out the edges

Take a scraping tool and put a line through the center of the wax with it

Go back over with the tool and create some areas with a bit more opening to make it more jagged

Take some red eye shadow and put it all around the "laceration" to make it appear more inflamed

Now put some red cosmetic in the center

Put black cosmetic on the edges and create a shadow effect

Stretch out the edges a bit

If you are able to, add some fake blood to the center

Gather all your materials

Sanitize hands

Place products on palette

Apply spirit gum to skin

Place small amount of wound wax on top and spread out with fingers

Use spatula with Vaseline to spread wound wax and smooth out edges

Leave a mound in the center

Apply foundation with a brush and blend out outer edges with sponge

Use spatula to make a line in the center and spread out

With a thin brush apply some red crane and liquid blood

Stipple on some blood and blend out edges with sponge

Add thick blood in some spots and blend

Spray on liquid blood and stipple more

Use small brush to add thicker blood and draw fine lines

Can add protruding object to wound

Sanitize hands

Gather puddy

Form puddy into a long thin tube

Apply puddy to the skin using Vaseline underneath

Smooth the edges with the skin

Make a cut lengthwise in the puddy to form flaps of skin

Apply red blush on the outside

Put bright red cosmetic on the inside to create blood

Use black cosmetic to make a shadow on the inner portion

Apply a scab or protruding object

Assemble equipment (putty, spatula, Vaseline, fake blood)

Prime tools with Vaseline

*Optional*. Add spirit gum or other adhesive to skin before putty

Roll a piece of putty and press it into skin

Smooth edges with spatula

Cut line down middle of putty with spatula

Open the laceration up and continue forming shape and edges

*Optional*. Use foundation the blend the color of putty and skin

Use red makeup to color the inside and surrounding area of the laceration

Add fake blood inside of the laceration

Get products- Wound wax, spirit gum adhesive, foundation, Vaseline, sponges, palette, spatula, blood

Apply spirit gum on skin

scrape wax out with putty knife

roll wax onto your hand to soften it

spread the wax in a thin line

spray the knife with alcohol to smooth the wax out

blend it into the skin

use edge of the knife through the center

add more wax to make the laceration deeper

blend out the edges

add food coloring/fake blood in the cut you made

you can add more color or blood around it

Always sanitize hands

Get your putty

Put Vaseline on skin

Put putty in long line

smooth edges

cut puddy to make ridges on the skin

Put liquid or blush blood around the putty

Put fake blood in the middle of laceration

use black blush to put in middle of laceration

can put liquid blood around the laceration
