Winning first prize in a national computer competition was one of my proudest moments as a Salwanian. It felt amazing to represent my school and make everyone proud. The support from my teachers and friends made me feel truly connected to the Salwan family.

As a student of Salwan, I truly loved being part of a community that celebrated both academic excellence and vibrant school life. I cherished the football ground, not only as a place where students gathered to play and support each other but also as the captain of the football team, leading my teammates with pride and determination. At the same time, I deeply valued our school’s commitment to high academic standards, which inspired me to push myself to excel. My involvement in the student council was especially meaningful — it allowed me to represent my peers and contribute to the growth of our school community. Winning the Gold Medal in the Math Olympiad and the Gold Medal in the International Informatics Olympiad were dreams that came true through the strong academic guidance I received. The Winner’s Trophy in the National Road Safety Olympiad, the Certificate of Excellence in the NIE Quiz by The Times of India, and securing an International Rank of 65 in the LogIQids Techfest were all made possible thanks to the confidence and preparation my school instilled in me.

Beyond academics, I am especially thankful for the Book Club, where I found not just a space to read but a community to belong to—through the Sisterhood of Readers and Kids Must Read, I discovered new words, developed a love for literature, and formed meaningful friendships.

With my school’s unwavering encouragement, I’ve had the opportunity to explore diverse arenas of learning. I was honoured to receive a Distinction in the Green Olympiad, reflecting my commitment to learning about the environment—an ethos deeply woven into our school’s values.

My love for logic and problem-solving earned me a Silver Medal in the Mathematics Olympiad, a journey that tested not just numbers but the patience and discipline behind every solution.

Stories have always been my sanctuary, and I was recognised as an Avid Reader—once within school and again by the KMR Book Club, an external forum that rewarded not just my reading but my reflections.

My hunger for knowledge found its way to the stage as I proudly became a two-time winner of the R.L. Chopra State-Level GK Cadet Quiz, a rigorous competition that demanded focus, breadth of awareness, and the thrill of thinking on one’s feet.

Perhaps one of my most unforgettable moments came during the Heritage Quiz, where in a nail-biting thriller, my team clinched 1st prize. That win wasn’t just about facts—it was about heritage, teamwork, quick thinking, and the surge of pride that comes from honouring our roots.

Beyond academics, I’ve embraced the spotlight as well. I had the opportunity to anchor at two salient stalls in both the Social Science and Mathematics Exhibitions, an experience that strengthened my confidence, communication and thinking skills while showcasing the collaborative brilliance of my peers.

Adding to this journey, I have also earned an International Rank of 34 in the LogIQids Aptitude Olympiad, a proud testament to critical thinking and problem-solving.

Each of these achievements represents more than just awards; they are milestones in a journey made meaningful by a school that believes in holistic education, that champions curiosity, and that empowers every student to shine in the classroom, on the stage, and far beyond.

Beyond academics, participating in assemblies, cultural events, environmental Olympiads, and creative competitions like Best Out of Waste and letter-writing carnivals has enriched my perspective. Recognition as a budding author, awards in dance competitions, and achievements in science and sports championships have truly shaped me into an all-rounder.

In addition, I earned 1st position in a presentation visit to an MCD school, an experience that allowed me to apply my learning beyond the classroom and connect with a wider community. I was also privileged to serve as the Vice Head Girl, a role that helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility, confidence, and school spirit.

Salwan Junior School has been the foundation of these achievements, fostering my curiosity, discipline, and love for learning. I am truly grateful for the environment it provided, which shaped me into the learner and leader I am today.

Being a Marshal means more than just wearing a badge; it represents responsibility, diligence, punctuality, and discipline. I am deeply grateful to all the teachers at Salwan for their constant support, encouragement, and for recognizing the potential in me. They’ve taught me that true leadership isn’t about titles—it’s about action, character, and consistency.
