I chose this video because after watching it, it made it easier to understand the process. With the animations as well using easier terms to understand it made it easy to watch. It did a good job of holding my attention as well as teaching me the process.

I chose this picture because it depicts our love for plants. Without plants and trees we would not have many of the things we use everyday. We would not have clean air or water. We wouldn't even have the resources to complete this class. Plants are so important to us and we need to love and appreciate them in order to survive.

This table shows exactly how the neolithic revolution impacted us as humans. Before we were hunters and gatherers. We used the resources we had to survive. After the revolution we had a surplus of food. Our populations began to grow and we were able to settle in one place and begin to farm. The neolithic revolution drastically changed the way were able to gather and consume food.

This picture shows the expansion of commercial farming during the third agricultural revolution. The use of combines really improved the efficiency of farming. It allowed the crops to be reaped, thrashed and winnowed all at one time. This sped up the process to allow farmers to collect the crop faster and get it out to consumers. By making the process easier and faster it allowed for more crop to be produced which increased the available food supply as well as the economy because of people buying the crop.

This is a picture showing the effects of caffeine on the body. I chose this chemical because of all of the effects both positive and negative. It does things like improve memory and focus but can also cause irritability and heartburn. I think majority of people consume some type of caffeine every day and some of us even depend on it to get us through our days.

This picture is a representation of what I believe could happen if certain practices go unchecked. Without some input we will eventually run out of land which will cause our food supply to suffer which then effects our economy. This could also take away jobs and cause our climate to make a drastic change. Without some input we would be in great danger of surviving.
