We chose to look into the market that they went to since there was no H-mart near where they lived. 

It reminds her of H-mart since this was the closest thing to it. It had a lot of the Korean ingredients that her mom would look through. 6) Now after she moved in with her mother, taking care of her is more of the concern. Nothing else really matters since looking after her  mom. She is lacking a place of belonging without her mom being well. We think that the main conflict would be person vs. nature. Nature would be referring to the cancer and disease that her mother is dealing with. 

How might this conflict be more significant that just this speakers story?
It affects the whole family because it effects the relationships that she has with her dad and husband. It also extends to all her friends and all her family in her Korea who have felt the loss of someone to cancer before.

It shows that they are kinda in the same spot and that their situation wont allow them to grow or gain anything. If someone chooses to not reach for the next level they value their life less because they don't strive to meet the highest tier. You can't start in the middle because it's a pyramid and it forces you for build your way up from the bottom. For example if you don't have a house or a job you can't worry about aesthetic needs. Although there are some exceptions, this is the way that is is for most people and some choose to ignore or avoid some of their needs.

6) after reading the whole book we have seen her grown and achieve the belonging and love needs that she was lacking throughout the book. It feels like she is growing and she's around the cognitive and aesthetic needs since she's fulfilled her career needs.
