This is a classroom for our children whose age ranged from 3 to 5 years old. There are four batches of children that use this classroom. Due to the children varying level as well as some children are easily distracted, visuals are minimized.

The classroom is very small so a long table and small table are used in class. Chairs are stacked up and kept in the corner of the class.

Toys and stationery are placed separately on a open shelf for easy access of the children and teachers.

A mobile whiteboard is used so it can be brought outside if more space is needed for activities. It is used for circle time and lesson introduction in which teachers sets up and keeps chairs after. There are visuals used for rules posted on mobile white board.

There is a book corner for the children as demarcated by the alphabet mat with low level book shelf (refer to the photo on the other feature "our book corner")

The multimedia has enough space to accommodate a lot children even ten children at a time.

There is lack of organization of space and seats in this room so it could be resolved by using mats, bean bags or even pillows for children to know where to sit .

An option to sit on chairs could be arranged yet in a distance from the mat to avoid crowding and children bumping on furniture.

Having a decor of based on a story theme or even a common favorite of the children can make the multimedia room look fun and engaging.

Books can be arranged in way that the books are facing outwards than sideways for children to easily access to the book they like and lessens the struggle to return book they finished reading.

Use of baskets or trays with labels (i.e words or clip arts) to contain books could be an option to upkeep books on shelves. With the use of color coded labels also attached on the cover of the book, it will be easier for the children to sort and return the books to the trays or baskets.

Additional features could be added in the multimedia decor such as felt board with character cutouts of featured book (see the middle photo) for story reading or storytelling.
It could also be helpful for children to retell or recount the stories.

A word wall or a bulletin board of interesting facts or pictures for children to comment and talk about is an added bonus to include too.

Space is a big issue for our classroom. Yet, given the chance to have a more spacious area there are numerous ideas to upgrade our current classroom.
Use of colorful and meaningful visuals for our children that will not entirely distract them but will engage and stimulate their thinking and curious caps.

The use of smaller tables is good to limit grouping into small group of two to four children per table. In that way, children are not easily overwhelmed with the movements and noise from other. Likewise, peer modelling will be easier for each other.

Sectioning the class is very important so children will have a variety of areas they can explore and have their activities. Organizing the areas and highlighting what the area is for is through the arrangement of furniture like shelves and tables as well as use of carpets or mats. Those items can help children understand the physical structure of the class and they will know how to navigate and be more independent in class.

It is also important for the children that in class is not all work but there is also time to play and explore. Allotting areas like the block corner, reading corner and pretend play will make children learn to socialize, use their language and apply what they know from class activities or even with their prior experience.
Children should also be taught to upkeep the things they used by providing baskets, tray or bins and let them where it is kept on each area they explore.
