The site in Al Warqa opp DRAGON MART.The total area is 119 HA. Which has been built at the top of the land fill side site. All the animals are in safe environment. The park will be divided into African,Arabian,Asian and safari village. Each village has a unique feature design. The fence of a park around will be 3. 7 kilometers long.The park is fully air condition rock, chilled pools which helps to cool both animals and visitors the center piece will be 1000 seat theater, a clean energy production garden, children garden. The park will be used solar energy. It is located in Al Warqa'a,Dubai. Looking more and more like a miniature man-made version of South Africa’s Kruger National Park or Chobe in Botswana. Idea is to save these animals from any more hardship and allow them to live out their lives in a safe environment where they no longer need to be treated as beasts of burden home . Almost 10,500 animals from around the world, including around 350 species of rare and endangered animals., divided into three main villages - African, Arabic, Safari - each with unique features, designs, animals and plants dis graded across the UAE. Official opening date has yet to be confirmed, although it is expected to be no later than the first couple months of 2017

Dubai Safari Park covering 119 hectares of land being built at Al Warqa area, along Al Aweer Road. Dubai Safari Park, opening 2016!

The site in Al Warqa, opposite Dragon Mart, is, every single day, looking more and more like a miniature man-made version of South Africa’s Kruger National Park. It very much is Dubai meets Africa. There will be real animals too.  

The visitors are transported by eco-friendly solar powered vehicles. The project consists of 8 major Zones:

  • Children Zoo
  • Arabian Safari
  • Asian village
  • African Village
  • Safari Village
  • Al Wadi
  • Service Areas
The whole idea is to save these animals from any more hardship and allow them to live out their lives in a safe environment.
The site will be home to almost 10,500 animals from around the world. 'Air-conditioned rocks' would be dotted around the park to help cool both animals and visitors. 

The centrepiece will feature a 1,000-seat theatre, a clean energy production garden, and an interactive garden for children.

The park will use solar energy and a hybrid operational system will be used to run the irrigation network, which will also include water recycling, waste disposal and other recycling facilities.
100s of different kinds of plants and trees will be used in one of the five major areas.

Building work at Dubai Safari Park is in its exciting final stages and is due for completion at the end of 2016 or by early 2017.

Dubai Safari Zoo Park covers a total area of 119 hectares and costs Dh150 million. This zoo is expected to open by end of 2016 and will have almost 10,000 animals from around the world, and out of those, there will be more than 350 species of rare and endangered animals. The fence around the safari park will be 3.7 km long. The solar-powered park is designed to absorb sunlight, which will then be converted into electricity during night time. The park will feature 100 different kinds of plants, with over 2,500 trees. The cages are customized to suit the local climate, and each cage will be  temperature-controlled and water-cooled greenhouse technology. There will be air-conditioned rocks, chilled pools and misting machines in the park to help keep the animals cool over the summer months. There will be a large theatre in the zoo that seats 1,000 people – this stage will host shows featuring binturong (also known as a bear cat) and raccoons. Initially there will be a Safari village, an Arabian village, an Asian village and an African village, and later they will add Americas and Australia exhibit. It will take about eight hours to visit around the whole park.
