Some character traits about Roger are idiotic, foolish, and considerate. He's idiotic because he tried to steal Mrs.Jones Pocketbook. This action causes him to get dragged to Mrs.Jones house. He's foolish for thinking that he could actually steal someones purse. Lastly he was considerate because in the end he decided to be trustworthy towards Mrs.Jones. This means that he didn't try to take Mrs.Jones purse while she wasn't looking and he didn't try to leave when Mrs.Jones wasn't paying attention.

Roger is bold, honest, reckless, and stupid. I say this because he was bold enough to actually try to steal Mrs. Jones purse, even while seeing that she's a big lady. He is honest because after he tried to steal the purse, he told exactly what he was gonna do. For example, when Mrs. Jomes asked if he was gonna run if she outs him down, he literally straight up said yes. Told the truth and the truth only. He didn't lie to Mrs. Jones at all. He is reckless because just like I said before, HE TRIED TO STEAL A BIG LADY'S PURSE! He is stupid also, BECAUSE OF THE SAME THING! HE. TRIED. TO. STEAL. A. VERY BIG AND MUSCULAR. LADY'S. PURSE.

I say that neglected because in the story Roger says "There's nobody at my house." I say fearful because at the end of the short story Roger acts timid and fearful to say thank you.

Roger is guilty after stealing the purse because Mrs. Jones was very nice to him giving him food and even after gave him money to buy the shoes. Another one was lonely, this might have been a trait because Roger has blue jeans meaning he is poor and maybe has people making fun of him making him feel lonely.
