Our topic on robotic advancements in our lives is important because it will change our lives. With advancements we made we can have robots do jobs that normally humans do and that would cost less over time and get the job done faster and almost uninterrupted. They could make our lives easier with miniscule tasks such as cleaning like the technology we have now already does. With robotics in our lives people have a few concerns about it. The concerns are they could be hacked, they could have bugs, and people would depend too much on them. If the robots are hacked it could release things that the person could not get out of or people could use it to hurt other people if the robot has a possible capability of doing so. Bugs in the system could interfere with what work it could do and in return could also hurt someone as well. If people become to dependant on robots and then for a reason they couldn’t use the technology for a reason they would not know what to do because they depended on the robot. What we learned from these articles is how far we have advanced from the part into this new technological age. Also we learned that even though these machines can be very helpful to everyone it can also be dangerous if things go wrong. The part of our topic that I found the most interesting was the advancements in medical robots. The medical advancements can help save lives and perform experiments without human error as a fatal mistake. What I found shocking was how the possibilities are endless with what robotics can do for our live, such as robotic nurses, waste removal systems, security cameras that can contact the police, and countless more. My opinion of our topic is for robotics because I believe they will benefit us in many ways, but the downside is they are taking jobs and replacing human workers which will cause problems. The increasing role in robotics will definitely become a larger part in future generations, as technology advancements are being made and we learn more about how robots work. The possibilities are unlimited to how robotics will be able to benefit the future and the world around us.
