It is in New York City, in Midtown Manhattan. It was first open in 1931, but its construction began in 1930. The name “Empire State Building” comes from New York´s nickname “Empire State”. It used to be the tallest building in the city, but it was surpassed by the World Trade Center in 1970. After the terrorist attack on September 11th 2001 it was once again the tallest building in the New York City. That was until 2012. Right now, it is 7th tallest in the city. Around 4 million people visit this skyscraper every year. This building is one of the symbols of the New York City. Originally there was supposed to be just 50 stories, but later it was increased to 60, then 80 and now with the observatory it has 102 stories. More than 3500 people worked at the construction and more than 3400 of them worked there daily. Sadly 14 people died during the construction of the skyscraper. Its opening was very important event. During the ceremony there were 350 guests, president of United States and many more influential people. In 1945 the building was hit by a plane between the 79th and 80th floors. This plane crushed in the building because of thick fog. 14 people were killed in this accident. Two days later the untouched stories of building ware opened again. Today The Empire State Building still holds its importance and its power, as it been included in a lot of movies and shows.

The Brooklyn Bridge is a suspension bridge in New York City. It connects Manhattan and Brooklyn. Bridge is crossing the East River. It was opened on 24th of May in 1883. It´s 486 meters long and 38 meters tall. In the time of it´s opening it was the longest suspension bridge in the world. At first it was called East River Bridge or York and Brooklyn Bridge. In 1915 it was officially renamed the Brooklyn Bridge. In the past there was a railway line but now it´s only open for cars, pedestrians and cycling. Approximately 10 000 people per day cross this bridge.

There is also Sheep Meadow, which is a large meadow where people have a picnic. Fountain, Cleopartias Needle, Belvedere Castle. There are many places where people can play sports such as beach volleyball courts and others. Central Park is a popular recreation spot. The museum opened its doors on April 13, 1870 and was founded by a group of businessmen, financiers, artists, and cultural enthusiasts. Today, it’s known for its digs on Museum Mile, a swath of Fifth Avenue that borders Central Park, but the institution was originally located in a much smaller building , which housed a Roman stone sarcophagus and 174 European paintings. The Met’s collection quickly grew too large for the space, and in 1873, the museum was moved to the Douglas Mansion, where it remained until builders completed its permanent location in 1879. As the Met's contents swelled over the years, various additions were attached to the building. Today, the original structure is completely surrounded by more modern wings. However, you can catch a glimpse of its original west facade in the museum’s Robert Lehman Wing, which contains 2600 works that once belonged to the notable banker.

The Plaza hotel (also known as The Plaza) is a luxury hotel and condominium apartment building in Midtown Manhattan in NY city. At its peak, the Plaza Hotel had over 800 rooms. Since its inception, the Plaza Hotel has become an icon of New York City, with numerous wealthy and famous guests. The restaurant spaces and ballrooms have hosted events such as balls, benefits, weddings, and press conferences. The hotel's design, as well as its location near Central Park, has generally received acclaim. In addition, the Plaza Hotel has appeared in numerous books and films. For example Home alone 2: Lost in New York. Due to the scenes, they pulled the carpet out of the hotel lobby so that Kevin could slip on the floor. The actual Plaza reservation number was used in the film. To this day, they offer packages that include, for example, a special edition of movies + ice cream and a stay in Kevin's room number 411 (the price per night is around $ 1,000).

The city of New York was originally called New Amsterdam and was founded by the Dutch. There are more women than men in New York, according to statistics, 52% of women and 48% of men. New Yorkers have a reputation for being rude and unfriendly. People are always in a hurry. What I love is the - the great mixture of nationalities and cultures. It's got to be the most cosmopolitan city in the world. Stores in there are open til 9:00 or 10:00 at night. New York City has one of the smallest crime rates in the big cities. Therefore, it ranks among the safest cities in the United States. The Empire State Building has its own zip code.

In her left hand, the statue holds a plaque with the date of the declaration of American independence - July 4, 1776. The torn chains under its feet symbolize liberation from slavery and from the rule of violence (but they are only visible from a full perspective). The torch of the huge monument has a construction of glass, copper and steel and is almost 9 meters high. When the overall restoration of the Statue of Liberty began in 1984: all the almost 100-year-old copper and steel nails, rivets and screws that held the entire load-bearing steel frame inside the statue were replaced. The outer packaging of copper plates was also replaced. The building has 71 elevators and the elevators travel at speed 37 kilometers per hour. It has a lot of shapes. The building has a cubic base and its edges form eight isosceles triangles. Near its middle, the tower forms a perfect octagon. One World Trade has 103 floors, and 71 of them are made offices. The building is meaningful, it was specifically constructed with the memory of the Twin Towers. The monument has the shape of the original buildings and there are 2 tanks of water. After their nine-meter walls, water flows into the hole at the bottom. There are written names of the all victims of the attack that died in 11. September 2001. There are victims from both cities New York and Pentagon. The museum building stands between these tanks.

Special about Broadway is that

they host a constantly changing variety of productions, including plays and musicals. Many people believe the theatrical productions on Broadway are the best in the world. Each year, the best Broadway shows are awarded Tony Awards. Broadway shows are one of the most popular tourist attractions in New York City.

Trinity Church was designed by Richard Upjohn.

The tower of Trinity Church currently contains 23 bells, the heaviest of which weighs (1,225 kilograms ).

Eight of these bells were cast for the tower of the second church building and were hung for ringing in the English change ringing style. Three more bells were added later. In 1946 these bells were adapted for swing chiming and sounded by electric motors.
