REFLECTION- here's a picture of me cozy in bed learning from amazing educators all around the globe!

Two thumbs up for all the awesome educators who contributed to tonight #engsschat! Throughout the chat I noticed a common theme in tone and ideology from educators. These are people who truly care and value student learning and success. I learned a lot from this chat; from activity recommendations, to instructional strategies-- these educators offered some incredible advice all around the board. This activity was an effective form of professional development for me. I was able to connect with educators who have a shared belief system, and I began to direct message them at the conclusion of the chat to continue seeking their expertise. The tweets I curated on this Padlet, are generally pieces of advice I will return to when I have my own classroom. I love the idea of editing student work in front of the class (the student volunteers), I think that this is especially beneficial because students are able to see what can be altered in a peer's paper and then apply the notes to their own work! Overall, very successful chat. I am excited for the new connections I've made. (sorry for my nerdy Padlet, I hope you enjoyed viewing!)
