I'm still looking for the door.” ― David Mitchell gdavies14 https://padlet.com/gdavies14/j1ro7ihrce1t/wish/227704777 2018-02-03 00:28:38 UTC https://padlet.com/gdavies14/j1ro7ihrce1t/wish/227704777 gdavies14 https://padlet.com/gdavies14/j1ro7ihrce1t/wish/227704792 This week first grade finished hearing about Nellie Bly.  Her life story was used to help show our Character Counts pillar of Fairness.  Ask your children how Nellie helped others who were not treated fairly.  We also examined some “new” nonfiction series books.  These books have been moved to a new section so the students can reach them more easily.  The library has quite a selection of nonfiction books for the Pre-K to 2nd age groups.  1B also helped decorate the library with our Beanie Babies for our new month of February.  We have many holidays in this short month.  1A will be hearing about them next week since their library day fell on the last day of January this week.  This month will fly by!  We’ve got lots of information, and so few days!
