Between the graphic novel and the original text when you're looking between these two pieces of the text I prefer the original text. In the graphic novel, you can see what is going on through the pictures and see what is going on, but in the original text, gives more detail about what is happening at the moment. The original text tells you what is going on step by step in an important part of the story and is more descriptive. So in this comparison, I would say that the original text is better than the graphic novel.

Bravery had a very strong importance in the story Frankenstein. Bravery is shown in many different ways throughout the story. One way bravery was shown was by Frankenstein being brave and standing up to his monster when it was intimidating and scary. Frankenstein's creation also showed bravery by standing up to Frankenstein and telling him how he truly felt. Bravery throughout the book helped change the characters and shaped them, especially Frankenstein's creation.

In this comparison, I think that between the original text and the graphic novel the graphic novel is better than the original text. The graphic novel gives more emotion through the images than through this part of the text. The original text doesn't give much emotion when it explains Frankenstein's wife's death. When his wife dies you can see the expressions on Frankenstein's face while it happened. In this comparison between the original text and the graphic novel, I think that the graphic novel is better.

At this point in the text, I like the graphic novel better than the original text. I like the graphic novel better because they both say the same words but the graphic novel shows what is going on with Frankenstein's creation and what he is doing. The original text is very boring at this part and isn't descriptive. The graphic novel helps your brain process what Frankenstein's creation is doing as he is talking about leaving and dying. So in this part of the text, I think that the graphic novel is better.

In the original text, it has many different strengths and weaknesses. One of the strengths that the original texts have is how descriptive they can be. It adds lots of information that helps make you understand the story better. Another strength that the original text has is you can make up your own pictures and story in your mind instead of it already being made up for you. One weakness that the original text has is that in some areas of the books, the graphic novel does a better job of conveying emotion and showing how the people are feeling. In the text, it talks about Frankenstein's monster leaving,"'Farewell! I leave you, and in you the last of humankind whom these eyes will ever behold. Farewell, Frankenstein! If thou wert yet alive and yet cherished a desire of revenge against me, it would be better satiated in my life than in my destruction."' That quote shows how an important part of the story was going on but there was no background information to express more emotion about this event of Frankenstein's creation leaving. The original text can lack that part of telling the story. Another weakness the original text has is the length. The length of the graphic novel is 130 and the length of the original text is 258. So throughout the original text, there are many strengths and weaknesses and those were just a few examples of some.

In the graphic novel, it has many strengths and weaknesses. One big strength that the graphic novel has is the pictures. The pictures can be really helpful to understand what is going on in the story. Another strength the graphic novel has is bold words to emphasize certain phrases and different shaped and colored text bubbles so you know if it is narration, Frankenstein's creation, or a human speaking. For example, everything that Frankenstein's creation says is in bold and in a certain color word bubble so you know he is saying it. The graphic novel also has some weaknesses. One weakness that the graphic novel has is the illustrations can be unclear in many different parts of the story. It adds shadows and you can't see the picture well. Also, another weakness could also be the pictures because it doesn't let you make up your own in your head. There are a lot less weaknesses than there are strengths. Those were only a few examples of the strengths and weaknesses of the graphic novel.

The theme of bravery can be shown in many different ways to help shape and form who a person is has an impact on society. If someone is brave how they are brave and choose to be brave can shape a person. When they are brave they show who they truly are as a person and show people how people can really act. So if people are brave and stand up for people in front of others that is going to have a good impact on society and show people how they should also act. People could also be brave and decide to start fights and that would have a bad impact on society because they can see how they could also be brave and act. Overall the theme could have a good or bad impact on society depending on how people decide to be brave and who they are as a person.
