Photosynthesis takes place in the leaves. It occurs in two stages . Water is used to provide electrons, hydrogen, and produces oxygen. The electrons and hydrogen are used to create ATP and NADPH. ATP storage energy. NADPH is an electron carrier. Oxygen is released from the leaves into the air.Hydrogen and carbon dioxide are used to from glucose or food for plants.
