Because almost nobody except Kanyes children are born into fame, and Kanye worked his whole life to achieve his musical legend, this status is ascribed. As such a widely known musician, Kanye is expected to release music on a regular basis and gain the publics approval. Kanye seldom meets these expectations; he often pushes back album release dates multiples times and shares unpopular opinions with the media, seemingly with no care of the publics backlash. Kanye clearly experiences role strain here, and he's very vocal about it. In the song No More Parties in L.A., Kanye says, "Every agent I know, know I hate agents. I'm too black, I'm too vocal, I'm too flagrant." Agents that are suppose to manage his image as a musician expect him to do the exact opposite of what he wants to. As a father, Kanye must spend time with his children in order to raise them. Here, Kanye may experience role conflict between his roles as a musician and a father. Kanye is expected by the public to spend much time at performances, releases and events. Both the public and Kim Kardashian expect Kanye to spend lots of time caring for his children. He is expected to create and produce fashionable clothing and shoes, as well  as release his products regularly.  Kanyes enacts a more mild and professional role performance as a fashion designer, compared to his outspokenness as a musician. This is likely in order to endorse a professional and responsible reputation in order to earn respect and appreciation for his clothing line, and probably to satisfy those he's partnered with at Adidas to produce his clothing line as well. This status is certainly an achieved one. The expensive price tag on the shoes, and therefor the difficulty in attaining these shoes, shows that his designs are high fashion, high quality and are very exclusive.
