As an example, if an oil spill were to occur within a body of water near Florida, the oil will impact surrounding ecosystems, and usually will take a while for it to be cleaned up. Nuclear energy is the best non-renewable source, but if a meltdown were to occur, it'll impact Florida greatly. And gathering coal is a dangerous job overall, there's a chance that you may be affected by the toxic fumes from a gas leak, or perhaps get killed by an explosion within the mines, but most of this stuff isn't going to actually happen. I think that the best resource to use in florida would be solar energy, it has many advantages and it produces clean energy. Florida would be the perfect place to use solar energy, it's sunny and hot most of the time so solar panels could produce a ton of energy.
