When we first meet Eva in the movie she seem that she got no problems in the world, and she puts up this kind of tough act but it just a faced over whats happend in her life.
Eva is a 3rd genertaion gang member, she had to testify against her own at court. She saw a guy get killed while waiting to go to her first day of school. She`s exprienced a lot through out her life and its shaped her to who she is today.
She was also one of the most resistent students torwards miss G.

Race, ethnicity, and tolerance:  diversion in race and ethnicity is shown among the students, and the rivalry between each of them. Sooner or later they have to learn to tolerate eachother.

Education and Healing:
Miss G helps inspire her students to care about their education and future. She helps them heal by creating a safe space where they can be themselves amongst others. She also helped them heal by letting them tell their story.

family and home:

The movie comes with a great message that might help someone else to also be inspired by other people storys, just as they did in the movie by Anne Franks diary.
