At the party, we decided to make churros and nobody knew how to do it, and I could not ask my mother because she did not know about the party.  So we improvised and got a recipe from the internet, but the churro-making device wasn't good. We managed to make the churros with great difficulty, but it did not turn out, as we wanted. It was really cool and everyone enjoyed it as we celebrated our last year. 

In the end, I cleaned up all the mess in my home and my mom never found out that this party happened there.

I always used April 1 to throw some ideas at my mom and find out what she thinks about some subjects. It's a good strategy for teenagers.

“Pursue knowledge”, said Bilu to humanity. Those words greatly inspired a generation of Brazilians, but  it unfortunately seems he did not follow his own advice. Our staff found out that our favorite alien got into a lot of trouble on his native planet, resulting in his banishment from there. Locals stated that Bilu had fallen addicted to gambling and lost all his possessions, then he proceeded to rob a bank only to be caught and sent to Brazil as a punishment. He is living in Varginha with the help of another Alien that has properties there.

Our team tried to contact him but he refused to answer us, ominously threatening us with a knife. We sincerely hope for his recovery.

UPDATE: After a long time of reflection, Bilu has finally decided to leave earth and become a better alien. According to locals, his last speech was: “Live a life you won’t regret.”

On April 1st, a cousin sent a print of a false news to a family group, the news said that heavy hailstorms were arriving in Paraná and the possibility of a hurricane, something never seen before in Brazil and that it was for people beware.

At first no one answered, as it was a day with many tasks at work, I ended up forgetting the news sent and did not look again at the whatsapp group.

Later, at the end of the day, several messages in the group about the subject, until an aunt said that she had already called the mason to install wooden panels in her house and that she was seeing the price of wooden sheets for buy, she questioned that she had been watching the TV news all day and had not seen anything being said about it, so she was confused.

So, I immediately told her that it was a joke and that it was April 1st, she was very angry and that she was worried all day for nothing.

In the end it was funny, and she was told to be more careful and not believe everything she sees on the internet.

Every time my father prepared this sandwich, which contained eggs, mayonnaise and something else. I’d immediately asked what the secret ingredient was, but unfortunately, he never told me until that day. He called me and said “Ok, I’ll tell you the secret ingredient” and he started to shake the sandwich and something started to chirp like a bird. At first I was a little suspicious, like “What is it?”. He continued to shake the sandwich and that thing was chirping again. I almost believed it with a expression of fear and wide eyes. 

Consequently, my mom said “Stop that! Hurry up and show what it is”. After that my father took a bird toy from his pocket and finally said the secret ingredient of his sandwich: black pepper. It was on April 1st.

Indeed, the whole program was a theatrical plot based on the book " The War of the Worlds" by the british writer Herbert George Wells. Some spectators missed the beginning of the dramatization, so, as "they took the tram going", they thought that all the story was really true.

Nowadays, it's hard to figure that something like that could happen, because we have enough tools to know what's fake and what isn't. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if some people believed that martians are invading Earth by seen the news on Whatsapp's group. Thus, I can't judge those people from 1938's that believed on the radio.

On Friday night I sent the following message tensely “So… lately I’ve seen you in a different way… To be honest this year I just saw you like that…”. And he asked what I was talking about and didn't get it until I said out loud “I had a crush on you”. The story is already cringe here, but gets really worse.

He didn't answer me for about a hour, and when he did the message was “Discusting, fuck off it”. And then so that we can still be friends I said sadly “HAHAHA that's a joke, it’s April 1st!!”.

Looks bad, and really is! This story is one of the worst times in my life, but two years later we dated (we spent years in a friendship zone) and he told me his message was a lie too, but he thought I was making fun of him because I already knew he was crazy about me. 

Finally a happy ending to my life.

So deliberately J. Ignatz Roderick and Johann Georg von Eckhart took advantage of Beringer’s beliefs to carry out one of the greatest scientific trolls of all time: they created fake fossils, with the name of God in Hebrew, then buried them for Beringer to find.

Unfortunately, instead of realizing the “prank”, Beringer believed that he had made an incredible discovery and took the fossils for a better analysis. The researcher was so pleased with the fossils that he even published a book promoting his work.

Fortunately they found out what the bones belonged to, the bones are from a dinosaur, It name is tyrannosaurus rex is over 60 million years old and they discovered that under  James's Garden there must have been more bones because this local was a dinosaur park.

Maybe james and some neighbors have to move in to keep the excavations can continue and maybe they can find more bones and more dinosaurs.

Besisdes the new millenium starts in 2001 and not 2000, the also knowed “bug of the millenium” made many pelople, specially in USA, stock food, buy weapons and search for underground shelters, thinking that the coumputers, instead to change their dates to 2000, would change to 1900. Belived this bug would make the planes crash and crisis in the bank system, making all the saves and investments just vanish, threathing the whole global economy. Corporations and govermenet hired specialists to order to “solve” this problem BEFORE happens, spending over US$ 300 bilions on preventives measures, but afterwards, nothing happened. The olny problems was TEMPORALY failures on bus stops in Australia, on radiation equipments  in Japan and websites showing the date 1/1/19100. The episode was not a simple April’s Fool prank, with cases of suicide in many countrys.
