I just want to say that your subject was genuinely the most interesting for me because of how interactive our classes were. I always loved how most of our lessons were back and forth discussions between us students and you Sir Daryl. I really really REALLY enjoyed English with you this year.

Now with that out of the way, I just need to bring to attention the HIGHLIGHT of my experiences with you, Sir Daryl.

I really enjoyed our conversations that were actually out of topic and unrelated to school, Sir. Whether it be before recess, before lunch, or even in between classes. The small comversations we had--sometimes with Miss Pe Aguirre--were my absolute favorite!


Sir Daryl, I hope I was a bearable student for you this year and I really thank you for all your help. It helped me improve a lot!


I'm gonna miss you Sir Daryl and I'm sure my other classmates will too. Hope to see you soon (maybe through an email asking for help with another supercurricular essay!)!

I want to thank you for a lot of things this year especially for making this year so so memorable for me and I’m sure for my other classmates as well. When the year first started, my confidence was at rock bottom and I had a very difficult time reciting. I was able to overcome, or at least soothe this a bit through your graded recitation. Each round, I found reciting to get easier and easier, especially after the round table discussion which I initially dreaded due to my quiet nature. I also learned a lot from the debate and project pitch to be able to speak out and be confident in what I say. I want to thank you for all that and the advice you give me every time because I can tell they helped me so much and I’m doing so much better than in the previous years. I also wanted to thank you for the kind words you gave me after the project pitch and debate, i kid you not they had me tearing up in gratitude and relief. I enjoyed the few times you would talk to me about glee since no other teacher did that and I appreciate it so much that I’m able to talk about what I love to do with people outside of club. I know our class was especially noisy sometimes so thank you for being patient with us. It was so refreshing to have you as a teacher because I can see your passion for teaching and for the subject which motivated me to give a little more this year. Again, thank you so so much for being our teacher for English 10, it was a pleasure having you teach us. I hope to see you around!


P.s. Sir I don’t have any references to cite, and I’m also not very good with writing messages but I hope I was able to write something that made you smile :))
