This is an example of hyperbole because it shows an extreme exaggeration of her being so into someone that it is like they take her breath away, which is not actually true or else she may have been dead already, but it is just to show that she feels strongly towards someone.

This is a repetition device as she reiterates the point that she won’t let go and she’s waiting for a sign to let go. She wants to let go, however, at the same time, she’s being pulled back, perhaps by all the good times and memories they had, and she can’t seem to take the steps necessary to move on.
