I will not be working with Alzheimer's patients as a teacher, however, the fact that music can be extremely helpful to these patients shows how vital it is for the brain. Those with Alzheimer's have brain cells and connections dying. When this happens, memories and mental functions are lost. An Alzheimer's patient may not remember their spouse but can remember songs and how to play them.</div>]]></description>
